Sailing in the footsteps of Ulysses
Traveling by sailboat means choosing to embark on an adventure that will leave a lasting impression.
Once you're settled on board, let your skipper guide you and discover a new way of life, one dictated by the sea. Everything becomes close, beautiful, simple... Time seems to stand still, giving way to a sense of complete disconnection.
Without any hassle, you can hop from one island to another, from one anchorage to another, following the wind. Days spentexploring the islands andenjoying the sea give way to magical nights bathed in starlight. The rocking of the boat lulls you to sleep, meals become exceptional moments, the crew forges unbreakable bonds, and Greece reveals its secrets.
Far from mass tourism, you can access secret beaches and unspoiled sites, and enjoy the sun and crystal-clear waters like never before.
Enthusiasts who love the Aegean Sea
Raphaël has been working with the association for three years. LesSkippers.com, a group of independent skippers offering sailing cruises around the world. He is responsible for cruises in the Aegean Sea aboard Vénus and coordinates multiple projects to offer you new destinations.
Raphael holds a Yachtmaster Offshore diploma and has over 15 years of sailing experience. For the past six years, he has sailed the Aegean Sea as a skipper, constantly exploring the treasures of the Greek islands and mastering every detail of these waters.
A passionate educator, he enthusiastically shares his knowledge. Whether guiding crews to secret coves, organizing cultural stopovers, or training future skippers, Raphaël transforms every trip out to sea into an enriching experience.
He joined the Venus project in Marseille, at the shipyard. After participating in the renovation of the sailboat—particularly the rigging and underwater hull—he grew fond of this unique vessel. Today, he is one of the cornerstones of the project.
Daniele has three years of intensive sailing in the Mediterranean under his belt. After spending last season sailing the waters of the Cyclades on Venus as a sailor, this year he is taking the helm of the sailboat as skipper, sharing the helm with Raphaël for a season rich in discoveries.
A born sailor with a life story as surprising as it is inspiring, he will captivate you with his expertise and energy. An artist and sculptor at heart, he combines his creative vision with his knowledge of Greek culture, without ever forgetting his Italian roots.
Eco-friendly, attractive, and comfortable
With its 4 double cabins, 2 bunk beds, and 2 bathrooms, Venus comfortably accommodates up to 8 passengers.
Just like at home, you can enjoy 220V power outlets, hot water, electric toilets, a freezer, a toaster, and even an espresso machine. The spacious and functional kitchen is perfectly suited for cooking while at anchor.
Bath and bed linen, masks, fins, and snorkels, a paddleboard, as well as flotation and fishing equipment are provided on board.
Finally, thanks to an extended sail area, we prioritize sailing and limit the use of the engine as much as possible. There is no generator on board: all equipment is powered by 1,000 W of photovoltaic panels, for quieter and more environmentally friendly sailing.
